When pictures of queues snaking around the block and starting at a tiny, green, hole in the wall shop, and Brisbanite’s Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook feeds begun filling with mouth watering snaps of bright and glaze dripping doughnuts, the question on everybody’s lips was, where is this heaven? And like the God’s had answered the sweet prayers of Brisbanites everywhere, Doughnut Time decided to make Brisbane its first home. The creative genius behind many of Brisbane’s most loved venues, Damian Griffiths, is also the mastermind behind Doughnut Time, a small hole in the wall located in the alcove outside his beloved Pizzeria, Alfredo’s. The daily menu of hand dipped donuts alternates based on seasonal ingredient availability and popularity.
