To start off our Europe trip, we decided to treat ourselves to a short staycation to acclimatise to Europe and to beat the jet lag. Our first choice for our staycation was the unique and modern Hotel de Nell, a boutique hotel that is part of the Design Hotels Group. True to our love of minimalistic design, the Hotel de NELL features a bright and fresh white palette with stunning, large windows overlooking architectural gems such as the Sainte-Cecile Church, The Conservatoire, or The Comptoir National d’Escompte. All of the rooms are designed to be bathed in the natural light that pours in from the large windows, giving the rooms a truly luxurious and ethereal feel. To add to its luxe boutique vibe, The Hotel de NELL features signature Japanese deep marble baths with high-end BVLGARI spa rituals to ensure that you can relax after a long day of exploring Paris on foot. This luxurious and unique feature is further complemented by Italian rainshowers, thick linens, a nightly turndown service with La Maison Du Chocolats as a nightcap, and Nespresso machines, to ensure your every luxury desire is catered for. The hotel is conveniently located between two main areas in the 9th Arrondissement so you are close to restaurants, bars, and shops at all times. If you’re up for a bit of outdoor physical exercise, our recommendation is to make use of the urban gym that is the streets of Paris and walk to one of our favourite neighbourhoods, Montmarte, or to The Jardins des Tuileries, both of which are a brisk one-hour return journey. Overall, The Hotel de NELL was a luxurious and modern boutique hotel that made for a fantastic stay in Paris and we hope that you try it for yourself too.
