Hunting for London’s best breakfast!

Welcome to the new “London Eats Series”. Over the next couple of weeks, we will introduce you to the places we ate at on our whirlwind week in London and how they fare on our radar! Complete with some drool-worthy photos, we are sure that you will find something you want to devour on your next visit to this amazing city. We would also love to hear your recommendations, and we will add them to our posts progressively, so comment below, on any of our social media accounts, or email enquiries@wanderlustchronicles.com.au with your tip!
To start us off, it’s the most important meal of the day, breakfast!
The Breakfast Club
A London institution in itself, lending its name, and great food, to numerous locations around London, is The Breakfast Club.  A Londoner’s favourite breakfast haunt, it was only right for us to jump on the wagon and give it a try, after being from the capital of great breakfasts ourselves. Rising early to steal a spot just as it opened, keep in mind that if you miss this early mark you may encounter waits as long as an hour on a good day, we were greeted with friendly faces of the staff and baristas. Adorning the walls are photos, messages, and foreign currency from customers past inviting you to claim your own spot up there. Signature dishes include bacon and banana French toast, Reggie the Veggie, and a Full Monty full cooked breakfast. They also serve up sides of our much loved avocado, so we were transported back to our favourite breakfasts from home. All in all, The Breakfast Club gets our big seal of approval and is our number 1 London Breakfast on this visit!

Damson & Co
For a simpler affair, Damson & Co is saving the damsel in distress. Located in the heart of Soho, Damson & Co is perfect for a pre shopping bite or an after partying refueling. Its cosy interior is welcoming on even the most miserable of London days and the staffs smiles only make it warmer. Traditional favourites like eggs benedict and eggs and soldiers feature heavily on the small but tasty menu. The items are completed with a great cup of coffee or a cold brew on those hot summer days. Damson & Co was a great find that we stumbled upon, and hope that you will get there one day too!

Princi
They say that they are the “Spirito Di Milano”, and we couldn’t agree more, as it truly delivers the spirit of Milan to central London. With delicious pastries, savoury treats, great coffee, and affordable prices, Princi is a great go to breakfast, or even lunch or dinner, spot. As an added bonus, the thick Italian accents of the gorgeous and attentive wait staff make Princi even more appetizing. We highly recommend Princi for a fast and delicious breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
