The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong Review

DSC07753

Setting a benchmark in sky high luxury, the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong is unbeatable in its field.

Soaring at 116 floors above sea level, our sky home was the opulent sanctuary we had been hoping for. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by the attentive and helpful duty manager, who served to be a great host during our stay. This high level of service was mirrored in all the staff we encountered during our stay, exemplifying the six star service the Ritz brand prides itself on. Upon entering our room we were welcomed with a plush bed and gold dusted chocolate covered strawberries, a much-appreciated reward after a long day’s travels.
Our days were spent lounging on our daybed, fitted into the windowsill, watching the boats below jet around the blue waters of the famous Victoria Harbour.
The postcard worthy day views of Hong Kong Island and the Victoria Harbour were just as breathtaking at night, as the skyscrapers of Hong Kong Island emitted a soothing neon glow over the black waters.
When the bright lights and electric buzz of the city did draw us away from our amazing sky sanctuary, we were rewarded with one of the best locations in Hong Kong, as the hotel is attached to the large Elements shopping centre that is the home of Kowloon station. We were also treated to the not to be missed afternoon tea experience in the Lounge & Bar. Overall, the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong is our favourite hotel in Hong Kong, and maybe even the world, as the service, rooms, and facilities are worthy of a six star label, exceeding all our expectations.
