There is nowhere as famed for macarons in the world as Laduree. Each delectable macaron is carefully crafted from a recipe passed down by the hailed Laduree family. The Laduree on Champs Elysees salon is a bucket list activity on every Paris visitor’s itinerary and the queues after 10am prove this fact.
Luckily, the WC team secured a spot for a Sunday morning brunch. We tried the Sunday brunch which came on a heaped three tier silver platter, filled with yoghurts, fresh pastries, such as croissants and sugared brioche, and of course, Laduree’s famed macarons. The set also came with coffee or tea, orange juice, fruit salad, and a hot dish of eggs of your choice. The breakfast was extremely filling but was delicious and fresh. The macarons were to die for and even the classic fruit salad tasted even more delicious in the romantic Parisian parlor setting of Laduree. The service is not up to the standard of the food or the décor, but considering that they get very busy, is excusable. We now know why this quaint patisserie makes everyone’s travel bucket list and even recommend it ourselves!
