No wanderlust bucket list is complete without a trip to the United Arab Emirates. The UAE is a culturally wealthy region, which is enhanced by the wealth of its locals wanting only the biggest and the best. Abu Dhabi, the lesser known Capital city of the UAE, is synonymous with grandeur and exclusivity and is in no way less exciting than the highly frequented Dubai, as Abu Dhabi is a city where travellers can escape the tourist side of the UAE and experience the life of the locals.
The Jumeirah at Etihad Towers fits the aesthetic of Abu Dhabi perfectly. Modern day grandeur coupled with Arabic interior design inspiration has lead to a pleasing combination for a hotel, which will suit every traveller’s desires. During our stay, we were fortunate to experience the Grand Deluxe Room with a Sea View. The Grand Deluxe rooms are oversized compared to many hotels around the world, allowing for sufficient room to lounge and escape to your own private sanctuary. The rooms all feature day lounges positioned perfectly in front of the floor to ceiling windows making it the perfect viewpoint for the breathtaking blues of the Indian Ocean. The beds are large and extremely comfortable which is important for travellers arriving on late night flights, such as ourselves. The bathroom was one of the best parts of the hotel room, as the Jumeirah provides a bath, rain shower, and separate toilet and bidet. Overall, we were definitely impressed by the hotel and we highly recommend the Jumeirah at Etihad Towers for stays in Abu Dhabi.
