Describe yourself in 140 characters//
Hi there, my name is Kate Jordan and I am a British writer/blogger/web designer/ESL teacher currently living in Frankfurt, Germany with my husband, Dan.
Latest destination you visited//
England to visit family and friends before Christmas. My last destination (that wasn’t a trip back home) was to Amsterdam for a 4 day weekend of fun with some of my closest friends.
Must-sees in Amsterdam//
The Anne Frank House is an absolute must for anyone visiting who is interested in history. For some fantastic photo opportunities, I recommend the Amsterdam letters, particularly in the summer! Another must-see if you are visiting the city would have to be the Red Light District. It’s actually a very safe area and truly an experience not to be missed.
Exclusive travel tips//
If you are travelling within Europe and have a driving license then you should take a look at car rental prices before you book flights. My partner and I have found renting a diesel car and driving it to our destination to be much cheaper than flights, buses and luggage charges at the airport on more than 3 occasions in the last year! Take the scenic route ;).
Rolokate’s favourite destination//
My favourite destination to date has been Athens, which I talk about in more detail here (http://relokate.eu/exploring-athens/). It’s an absolutely breathtaking city.
Relokate’s Top 5 dream destinations for 2015//
We have a trip booked for Prague in March which I am literally counting down the days until as it’s been on my ‘must visit list’ for about 2 years! We are also hoping to visit Krakow, Poland and Italy within the early part of the year, as well as Bath, England and London, England in the later part. I have been to London many times during my time living in England but I never tire of how much I love the city!
