Our experience of the Potato Head Beach Club in Bali.
Seminyak in Bali is the quintessential cool kid neigbourhood. The glamorous locals and thirsty tourists flock to one of Seminyak’s coolest hangouts, the Potato Head Beach Club, in droves. And so, naturally, we had to find out what all the fuss was about.
A short walk through the Potato Head’s cute, locally curated shop, will have you arriving in style to the hostesses table, overlooking the lush circular green which hugs the beachside open-air cabanas. It was here that we found ourselves a prime spot on the green at one of the pop-up picnic spots. With a swift menu delivery and on spot ordering system, we were sipping tiki-themed cocktails before we knew it. Coupled with some delicious bar bites, such as the featured spicy wedges, or more substantial meals to refuel after a long swim, such as Australian tenderloin or a perfectly grilled burger, the Potato Head provides you with every reason to stay and enjoy a relaxing afternoon.
After enjoying an afternoon that truly captures the laid-back and trendy Bali style, the sun lazily set on a perfect Sunday session, painting the sky in vibrant lilacs and pinks, a truly memorable sunset to end the perfect Bali day.
Potato Head is definitely on our list for chillin’ in Balinese style.
